It is a common belief that Mata Sati&#8217;s heart fell here while Shiva carried her body to roam around the world. Baba Dham is one of the spiritual places that possesses high significance in Hindu mythology, making it one of the famous temples in Deoghar. Every day in the morning and evening, a long queue stands outside the temple and waits for its turn to have a look at the Shiv Shakti Temple. You can see crowds of people during the months of Shravan and Mahashivratri. People mostly come to pray to Lord Shiva here. It is among the most popular temples in Deoghar devoted to Lord Shiva. Here, the main temple is surrounded by many small temples, so you can do lots of puja here. Here you can find beautiful idols of Radha and Krishna, which are 146 feet in height. Other idols of Gopal and Balananda Brahmachari are two saints situated here. At the entrance of the temple, there is a statue of Rani Charushila, who constructed this famous temple in Deoghar. You can reach here by road, train, and by flight. Devoted to God Neelkanth, this temple holds equal significance to the temple of Baba Baidynath. Both temples are dedicated to Lord Shiva, and every day people come here to pay their respect and show their faith and belief in Bhole Baba. Both the temples are located adjacent to each other. Every day devotees come to worship Mata here. Women come in greater numbers than men in this temple. This is one of the oldest temples in Deoghar that nobody knows about its year of establishment. Situated in the busy market of Deohar, it is only 50 metres away from the Baiju Temple. As it is believed that both Lord Shiva and Vishnu met here, this is why this place is named after both, Hari refers to Vishnu and Har refers to Shiva. A temple of Shiva is built here by Shri Achintan Das. A water tank is also present here, which holds great significance in Hindu mythology. This tank is known as the &#8216;Harini Tank&#8217;. In this temple, all nine Devi avatars of Durga are worshipped with great devotion. It is a very calm and peaceful place to visit. One can sit here and do meditation without any disturbance. This ashram is just 2\u20133 kilometres away from Deoghar city. Here, the idol of Krishna and Radha weighs about six quintals made from eight metals. During Janmashtami, a mela is held by the people of the ashram, and people from different regions of India come to visit this place. Every day, kirtan, aarti, and bhajan are organised by the people who participate with great enthusiasm and devotion. Located 10 kilometres away from the centre of the city, this is one of the best temples in Deoghar.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Timings:<\/strong> 5 AM &#8211; 11:30 AM and 3 PM &#8211; 9 PM<\/p>\n<p><em>Deoghar is full of religious places to offer prayer to various gods and goddesses. It is estimated that about 8 to 10 million people come to visit every year from different parts of the country. Most devotees wear saffron-coloured clothes to offer prayers at the temple. Most temples also require devotees to trek over the mountains or do a little hike to reach their destination.
