The fort is alternatively known as Lallubhai Haveli and is reportedly a 1000-year-old fort. The fort was commissioned to be constructed by Siddhraj Jaysinh, who was the king of Gujarat back in the day. What\u2019s alluring about the Bharuch Fort is the different elements inside. There are the Collector’s office, Civil Courts, the Old Dutch factory, a church, the Victoria Clock tower and other buildings inside. It is a one-storeyed fort that was constructed by an ex-Divan of the former Nawab of Broach named Lallubhai, which explains where the fort derives its alternative name. <\/p>\n
