By Road: Yumthang Valley is about 150 kilometres from Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. The journey by road typically takes 6-7 hours, winding through mountainous terrain and offering spectacular views.
By Air: The nearest airport is Pakyong Airport, located about 180 kilometres from Yumthang. However, due to its limited flights, many travellers opt for Bagdogra Airport in West Bengal, which offers more frequent connections.
By Train: New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) is the closest central railway station, approximately 270 kilometres from Yumthang. From NJP, visitors can hire a taxi or take a shared cab to reach Yumthang.
