The Rohtak Zoo location is in the Tilyar Lake complex. This complex is on the Delhi Road in Gali No. 3 of Sector-28 in Rohtak, Haryana. Rohtak is a part of the National Capital Region at present and is located on National Highway 10 in India.

By Air: The Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi is located at a distance of 75 km from Rohtak. From there, you can rent a car or book a cab to the zoo.
By Road: If you are going to the zoo from Delhi, you have to travel via the NH-9 or NH-10. It connects Delhi and Fazilka to Rohtak. Besides that, you can take one of the many buses to Rohtak from Avantika Sector 1 in Delhi. You can also get a bus from Chandigarh.
By Rail: The railway station closest to the zoo is the Rohtak Junction Railway Station. It connects Hisar, Delhi, Fazilka and Sirsa. The zoo is just around 9.4 km from the station. Once you get there, you can hire a taxi or a bus to reach the attraction.

This small, quaint city on National Highway 9 is situated quite close to the Rohtak Zoo. It is known for its archaeological sites which reconstruct the period of the Indus Valley Civilization. The city has vast sand dunes marking its periphery and there is evidence proving that it was earlier known as Mahahattam during the prehistoric times. Ponds created during the era of the Indus Valley Civilization still exist here. A lot of valuable excavations have been retrieved from this city. 4. Shahjahan Ki Baoli

This architectural wonder is also known as Choron ki Baoli. Built under the reign of Mughal Emperor Shahjahan to facilitate the storage of rainwater, it is very close to Meham. The Baoli is built in layers and is a popular spot visited by tourists throughout the year. The word Baoli means stepwell; in the Mughal era, many such stepwells had been constructed to use rainwater for domestic and agricultural purposes. It is believed that Choron ki Baoli had relieved the drought like conditions in the area around Meham.

5. Shri Durga Bhawan Temple
